WELCOME TO HORIZONS LAKE JINDABYNE
We wanted to give you a heads-up about some ongoing construction taking place at the hotel from January 2025 to December 2026. The Owners Corporation will be working on improvements that will impact a few areas, some external walkways, the tennis court and some parking spaces. Please rest assured that all works will be limited to the main hotel building and will not affect the accommodation blocks. However, there may be some noise between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

CANCELLATIONS: WINTER (June – Sep) If notice of cancellation is received in writing 30 days or more prior to arrival date, all monies will be refunded less a $55 cancellation fee. If less than 30 day’s notice of cancellation, all monies paid are forfeited. We strongly recommend the purchasing of domestic travel insurance to cover you for Illness and Injuries. SUMMER (Oct – May) Reservations can be cancelled by 2pm, one day prior to arrival date (24 hours) all PREPAID PACKAGES will incur a $55 cancellation fee per booking. Any no-shows or cancellations made within the 24 hour window will be charged one night’s accommodation.
PAYMENT: WINTER (June – Sep) 50% Deposit payment is required at time of booking. Full payment due 30 days prior to arrival. Confirmations will be sent at time of booking. SUMMER (Oct – May) A Credit card is requested to guarantee your reservation. Payment will be taken on arrival to the hotel. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Amex and all incur a 1.5% surcharge.

We sit on 62 Kosciuszko Road, a 5-minute walk from Jindabyne’s town centre, shops and cafes, and right on the lake. Cooma Snowy Mountains Airport is about 30 minutes away by car, and Thredbo and Perisher are both roughly 40 minutes further into the mountains.
Rooms
78 apartment-style rooms, from the Studio through to the Two Bedroom, each self-contained with a full kitchen and laundry, useful after a day on the slopes or the water. Private balconies open onto lake or mountain view.
Dining
Embers Fireside Restaurant serves steak, seafood and hearty mains by an open fire, plus a $35 buffet breakfast each morning. Next door, Squires Bistro and Squires Bar cover more casual dining and drinks, open for dinner and happy hour Tuesday to Saturday, with a beer garden.
Parking & Directions
Undercover or outdoor parking space is complimentary and allocated per room. Cooma Snowy Mountains Airport is about 30 minutes away, 2 hours by road from Canberra and a 6-hour drive from Sydney depending on conditions through the alpine region.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in from 3PM and check-out by 10AM. There’s an indoor heated pool, a gym, and bikes for a loop around the lake, plus the region’s disc golf course right next door. For something slower, the onsite beautician is on hand.
Events & Spaces
Horizons has 7 event spaces overlooking the lake, catering for up to 260 guests. The Summit Room is the largest, holding 220 for a banquet, while the Lakes Room, McEvoy’s Lounge by the fire, or a private dinner at Embers suit smaller groups.
